Description

This unique white tea 白茶 has a light aroma, unveiling the wisdom of ancient tea leaves, a delicate elixir that whispers stories of composed contemplation.

Shou Mei white tea has a unique history tied to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). During this period, it was primarily produced from the leaves that remained after the more delicate and prized Silver Needle and White Peony teas had been harvested. These larger and slightly more mature leaves were carefully plucked and processed to create Shou Mei tea 白茶.
